To cool (something) down
In the summer, I must turn on the air conditioner to cool the house; otherwise, it gets too hot, and I sweat all the time.
בַּקַּיִץ אֲנִי חַיֶּבֶת לְהַדְלִיק אֶת הַמַּזְגָן כְּדֵי לְקָרֵר אֶת הַבַּיִת, אַחֶרֶת חַם לִי נוֹרָא וַאֲנִי כָּל הַזְּמַן מַזִּיעָה.
