To sweat
They say sweating is good. It’s the body's natural way to cool itself and to expel toxins. Some people enjoy sitting in a sauna and letting their body sweat.
אוֹמְרִים שֶׁלְּהַזִּיעַ זֶה טוֹב. זֹאת הַדֶּרֶךְ הַטִּבְעִית שֶׁל הַגּוּף לְקָרֵר אֶת עַצְמוֹ וְגַם לִפְלוֹט רְעָלִים. יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁאוֹהֲבִים לָשֶׁבֶת בְּסָאוּנָה וְלָתֵת לַגּוּף לְהַזִּיעַ.
When I arrive in Tel Aviv in the summer, I can't stop sweating. So if I need to travel to Tel Aviv in the summer, I start sweating already at the train station in Be’er Sheva.
כְּשֶׁאֲנִי מַגִּיעָה לְתֵל אָבִיב בַּקַּיִץ, אֲנִי לֹא מַפְסִיקָה לְהַזִּיעַ. אָז אִם אֲנִי צְרִיכָה לִנְסוֹעַ לְתֵל אָבִיב בַּקַּיִץ אֲנִי מַתְחִילָה לְהַזִּיעַ כְּבָר בְּתַחֲנַת הָרַכֶּבֶת בִּבְאֵר שֶׁבַע.
My friend, Miri, bought a wardrobe from IKEA and tried to assemble it, but she didn’t succeed so well.
חַבֵרָה שֶׁלִּי, מִירִי, קָנְתָה אָרוֹן בְּאִיקֵאָה וְנִסְּתָה לְהַרְכִּיב אוֹתוֹ, אֲבָל זֶה לֹא כָּל כָּךְ הִצְלִיחַ לָהּ.
Her boyfriend knows how to put things like that together, so I asked him: "Why aren’t you helping her?" Do you know what he told me? "Let’s let her sweat a little…"
I think she should get rid of him (the boyfriend, not the wardrobe).
הֶחָבֵר שֶׁלָּהּ יוֹדֵעַ אֵיךְ לְהַרְכִּיב דְּבָרִים כָּאֵלֶּה, שָׁאַלְתִּי אוֹתוֹ: "לָמָּה אַתָּה לֹא עוֹזֵר לָהּ?"
אַתֶּם יוֹדְעִים מָה הוּא אָמַר לִי?
