To sunbathe\tan
Some people love going to the beach, lying on the sand, and getting a tan. You can tan on the beach, by the poolside, or even on the balcony at home.
יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁאוֹהֲבִים לָלֶכֶת לַיָּם, לִשְׁכַּב עַל הַחוֹל וּלְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף. אֶפְשָׁר לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף עַל חוֹף הַיָּם, עַל שְׂפַת הַבְּרֵיכָה אוֹ אֲפִילּוּ בַּמִּרְפֶּסֶת בַּבַּיִת.
Some people, when they go tanning, get a beautiful skin tone. But some people (like me)—if they sit in the sun and try to tan, they just turn red!
יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁכַּאֲשֶׁר הֵם הוֹלְכִים לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף, הֵם מְקַבְּלִים צֶבַע עוֹר יָפֶה.
אֲבָל יֵשׁ אֲנָשִׁים (כָּמוֹנִי) שֶׁאִם הֵם יוֹשְׁבִים בַּשֶּׁמֶשׁ וּמְנַסִּים לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף, הֵם הוֹפְכִים לִהְיוֹת אֲדוּמִּים!
When you go tanning, you also get vitamin D, which is good, but you need to know how to tan in a healthy way.
כְּשֶׁאַתֶּם יוֹצְאִים לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף אַתֶּם מְקַבְּלִים גַּם וִיטָמִין D, זֶה טוֹב, אֲבָל צָרִיךְ לָדַעַת לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף בָּרִיא.
It is dangerous to tan between 10 AM and 4 PM because the sun’s rays are too strong.
זֶה מְסוּכָּן לְהִשְׁתַּזֵּף בֵּין הַשָּׁעוֹת עֶשֶׂר בַּבּוֹקֶר וְאַרְבַּע אַחַר הַצָּהֳרַיִם כִּי קַרְנֵי הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ חֲזָקוֹת מִדַּי.
