Your life is (as) strawberries
This expression is usually used when we hear about people who don't have to work hard to get what they want,
בְּדֶרֶךְ כְּלָל מִשְׁתַּמְּשִׁים בַּבִּיטּוּי הַזֶּה כְּשֶׁאֲנַחְנוּ שׁוֹמְעִים עַל אֲנָשִׁים שֶׁלֹּא צְרִיכִים לַעֲבוֹד קָשֶׁה כְּדֵי לְהַשִּׂיג אֶת מָה שֶׁהֵם רוֹצִים,
But also in other cases...
אֲבָל גַּם בְּמִקְרִים אֲחֵרִים...
For example: If I woke up very early in the morning because I have to go to work and I met a friend who told me that he woke up at 10am in the morning, I would tell him: "Your life is strawberries".
לְמָשָׁל: אִם קַמְתִּי בַּבּוֹקֶר מַמָּשׁ מוּקְדָּם כִּי אֲנִי צְרִיכָה לָלֶכֶת לָעֲבוֹדָה וּפָגַשְׁתִּי חָבֵר שֶׁמְּסַפֵּר לִי שֶׁהוּא קָם בְּ – 10:00 בַּבּוֹקֶר, אֲנִי אֹמַר לוֹ: הַחַיִּים שֶׁלָּךְ תּוּתִים.
But between us, it's all a matter of attitude. If you wake up happy in the morning, and are grateful for what you have in life, your life is strawberries too!
אֲבָל בֵּינֵנוּ, זֶה הַכֹּל עִנְיָן שֶׁל גִּישָׁה. אִם אַתָּה קָם בַּבּוֹקֶר שָׂמֵחַ, וּמוֹדֶה עַל מָה שֶׁיֵּשׁ לְךָ בַּחַיִּים גַּם הַחַיִּים שֶׁלְּךָ תּוּתִים!
