TOVIM HA-SHNAYIM MIN HA-ECHAD
Two are better than one
The origin of this expression is from the book of Ecclesiastes. King Solomon, who was the wisest man, said this.
מְקוֹר הַבִּיטּוּי הַזֶּה מִסֵּפֶר קֹהֶלֶת. שְׁלֹמֹה הַמֶּלֶךְ שֶׁהָיָה הֶחָכָם בָּאָדָם אָמַר אֶת זֶה.
If there is something heavy that needs to be lifted, two are certainly better than one.
אִם יֵשׁ מַשֶּׁהוּ כָּבֵד שֶׁצָּרִיךְ לְהָרִים, בְּוַדַּאי שֶׁטּוֹבִים הַשְּׁנַיִם מִן הָאֶחָד.
Sometimes when I must write something and nothing comes to my mind, I ask my son to sit with me and together we manage to come up with many good ideas in a short time.
לִפְעָמִים כְּשֶׁאֲנִי צְרִיכָה לִכְתּוֹב מַשֶּׁהוּ וְאֵין לִי רַעֲיוֹן, אֲנִי מְבַקֶּשֶׁת מֵהַבֵּן שֶׁלִּי לָשֶׁבֶת אִיתִּי וּבְיַחַד אֲנַחְנוּ מַצְלִיחִים תּוֹךְ זְמַן קָצָר לְהַעֲלוֹת הַרְבֵּה רַעֲיוֹנוֹת טוֹבִים.
