To cry
If someone, God forbid, passes away, it usually makes us cry.
אִם מִישֶׁהוּ, חָס וְחָלִילָה, נִפְטַר זֶה בְּדֶרֶךְ כְּלָל גּוֹרֵם לָנוּ לִבְכּוֹת.
To be honest, sometimes when I watch a sad movie, it also makes me cry.
לְמַעַן הָאֱמֶת, לִפְעָמִים כְּשֶׁאֲנִי צוֹפָה בְּסֶרֶט עָצוּב זֶה גַּם גּוֹרֵם לִי לִבְכּוֹת.
Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on, meaning it’s good for a person to have a friend to whom they can tell their troubles when they need to.
כָּל אֶחָד צָרִיךְ אֵיזוֹ כָּתֵף לִבְכּוֹת עָלֶיהָ, כְּלוֹמַר טוֹב שֶׁיִּהְיֶה לְאָדָם חָבֵר כְּדֵי שֶׁיּוּכַל לְסַפֵּר לוֹ אֶת צָרוֹתָיו כְּשֶׁהוּא צָרִיךְ.
We also have the Hebrew saying "There’s no need to cry over spilled milk," meaning that what has happened, has happened, and we cannot change it. Instead, we should think about how to move forward and what can be done differently.
וְיֵשׁ לָנוּ אֶת הַבִּיטּוּי בְּעִבְרִית "לֹא צָרִיךְ לִבְכּוֹת עַל חָלָב שֶׁנִּשְׁפַּךְ", כְּלוֹמַר מָה שֶׁקָּרָה, קָרָה וְלֹא נוּכַל לְתַקֵּן אֶת זֶה, אֶלָּא צָרִיךְ לַחֲשׁוֹב אֵיךְ לְהִתְקַדֵּם וּמָה אֶפְשָׁר לַעֲשׂוֹת אַחֶרֶת.

4. Sometimes all a person needs is a safe place where they can cry and feel that someone is truly listening and understanding.
