צַמֶּרֶת – צַמָּרוֹת

The צַּמֶּרֶת is the top upper part of the tree.
הַצַּמֶּרֶת הִיא הַחֵלֶק הָעֶלְיוֹן הַגָּבוֹהַּ שֶׁל הָעֵץ.
The origin of the word "צַּמֶּרֶת" is from the book of Ezekiel:
"He came to Lebanon and took the top of the cedar" (Ezekiel 17:3).
מְקוֹר הַמִּילָּה צַמֶּרֶת הוּא מִסֵּפֶר יְחֶזְקֵאל:
"בָּא אֶל הַלְּבָנוֹן וַיִּקַּח אֶת צַמֶּרֶת הָאֶרֶז" (יְחֶזְקֵאל יז', ג').
We often use the word "צַּמֶּרֶת" as a metaphor, for example:
'The צַּמֶּרֶת of the company' = the senior managers in the company.
The צַּמֶּרֶת'' of the army = The highest-ranking commanders in the army/high command.
אֲנַחְנוּ מִשְׁתַּמְּשִׁים הַרְבֵּה מְאוֹד בַּמִּילָּה צַמֶּרֶת כְּמֶטָאפוֹרָה, לְמָשָׁל:
'צַמֶּרֶת הַחֶבְרָה' = הַמְּנַהֲלִים הַבְּכִירִים בַּחֶבְרָה.
'צַמֶּרֶת הַצָּבָא' = הַמְּפַקְּדִים בַּעֲלֵי הַדְּרָגִים הַגְּבוֹהִים בַּצָּבָא\הַפִּיקּוּד הָעֶלְיוֹן.
The 'צַּמֶּרֶת' of the League = The football teams that won a lot of football matches and reached the top positions during the league games.
צַּמֶּרֶת model - A model who stars in a lot of advertisements, mainly for companies that pay her a lot of money.
'צַמֶּרֶת הַלִּיגָה' = קְבוּצוֹת הַכַּדּוּרֶגֶל שֶׁנִּצְּחוּ בְּהַרְבֵּה מִשְׂחָקִים וְהִגִּיעוּ לַמְּקוֹמוֹת הָרִאשׁוֹנִים בִּתְקוּפַת מִשְׂחֲקֵי הַלִּיגָה.
דּוּגְמָנִית צַמֶּרֶת – דּוּגְמָנִית שֶׁמְּכַכֶּבֶת בְּהַרְבֵּה מְאוֹד פִּרְסוֹמוֹת וּבְעִיקָּר בְּפִרְסוֹמוֹת שֶׁל חֲבָרוֹת שֶׁמְּשַׁלְּמוֹת לָהּ הַרְבֵּה מְאוֹד כֶּסֶף.
