Brother - Sister
Brother and sister are children of the same parents, but if the parents got divorced and married other people and had children, their children will be half-siblings or step-siblings.
אַח וְאָחוֹת הֵם יְלָדִים לְאוֹתָם הַהוֹרִים, אֲבָל אִם הַהוֹרִים הִתְגַרְשׁוּ וְהִתְחַתְּנוּ עִם אֲנָשִׁים אֲחֵרִים וְנוֹלְדוּ לָהֶם יְלָדִים - הַיְּלָדִים שֶׁלָּהֶם יִהְיוּ אַחִים חוֹרְגִים אוֹ אַחִים לְמֶחֱצָה.
Brother and sister can also be twins if they were born to the same mother at the same birth.
אַח וְאָחוֹת יְכוֹלִים לִהְיוֹת גַּם תְּאוֹמִים אִם נוֹלְדוּ לְאוֹתָהּ אִמָּא בְּאוֹתָהּ לֵידָה.
Note that in Hebrew, the words "brother" and "sister" are also used to denote male and female nurses.
שִׂימוּ לֵב: הַמִּילִּים אַח וְאָחוֹת מְשַׁמְּשִׁים בְּעִבְרִית גַּם לְצַיֵּן Nurseבְּזָכַר וּבִנְּקֵבָה.
"My sister, my bride" is a phrase from the Song of Songs that a man uses to call his beloved.
"אֲחוֹתִי כַּלָּה" – הוּא בִּיטּוּי מִשִּׁיר הַשִּׁירִים שֶׁגֶּבֶר מִשְׁתַּמֵּשׁ בּוֹ כְּדֵי לִקְרוֹא לַאֲהוּבָתוֹ.

1. They say blood is thicker than water. My brother and sister always supported me in tough times, and I don't know how I would have succeeded without them.

3. My older sister was always a role model for me, and I learned many important things about life from her.

4. Due to a dispute over inheritance, my brother and sister stopped talking to each other, and the rift in the family only deepened.
