Sunrise
Sunrise is the time when the sun rises and begins to illuminate the sky, thus ending the night.
הַזְּרִיחָה הִיא הַזְּמַן שֶׁהַשֶּׁמֶשׁ עוֹלָה וּמַתְחִילָה לְהָאִיר אֶת הַשָּׁמַיִם וּבְכָךְ מְסַיֶּמֶת אֶת הַלַּיְלָה.
In the word "sunrise" (זְרִיחָה), we can see the root ז.ר.ח, so when the sun rises, we say "the sun is rising" (הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ זוֹרַחַת).
בַּמִּילָּה זְרִיחָה אֲנַחְנוּ יְכוֹלִים לִרְאוֹת אֶת הַשּׁוֹרֶשׁ ז.ר.ח אָז כְּשֶׁהַשֶּׁמֶשׁ עוֹלָה אֲנַחְנוּ אוֹמְרִים הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ זוֹרַחַת.
And one more thing - where does the sun rise? The sun rises in the east (מִזְרָח), which also comes from the same root.
וְעוֹד מַשֶּׁהוּ – אֵיפֹה הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ זוֹרַחַת? הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ זוֹרַחַת בַּמִּזְרָח (גַּם זֶה מֵאוֹתוֹ הַשּׁוֹרֶשׁ).
