מְדוּרַת הַשֵּׁבֶט הוּא בִּיטּוּי שֶׁבּוֹ אֲנַחְנוּ מִשְׁתַּמְּשִׁים כְּדֵי לְדַבֵּר עַל הַמָּקוֹם שֶׁבּוֹ אֲנָשִׁים יוֹשְׁבִים בְּיַחַד, מְבַלִּים וְשׁוֹמְעִים אֶת הַחֲדָשׁוֹת.
In the past, tribes would gather around the bonfire, carrying out essential daily activities such as eating and warming themselves. The fire was the center of life, providing both physical warmth and a communal space for interaction.
בֶּעָבָר שְׁבָטִים הָיוּ יוֹשְׁבִים סְבִיב הַמְּדוּרָה וְעוֹשִׂים אֶת כָּל הַפְּעִילוּיוֹת הַהֶכְרֵחִיּוֹת שֶׁל הַחַיִּים שָׁם, כְּמוֹ לְמָשָׁל: אוֹכְלִים, מִתְחַמְּמִים. הָאֵשׁ הָיְתָה מֶרְכַּז הַחַיִּים.
In more modern times, the tribal bonfire became the television, as families and friends would sit together, watch TV, eat, laugh, and hear the latest news.
